City of Powder Springs 2025 Municipal Election

To help connect the public with candidates in municipal races, the Cobb County Democratic Committee has reviewed candidates whose values align with ours and is recommending select individuals. All candidates on this page were invited to complete a questionnaire, and responses are shared where available.


Key Election Dates

  • Early Voting: October 14–31, 2025
  • Election Day: November 4, 2025
  • Runoff (if needed): December 2, 2025


Early voting includes two Saturdays and one Sunday.

An (I) next to a name signifies an incumbent.

Raja Antone, a program and project management professional, is running for Powder Springs City Council Ward 1 with a focus on continuing the city’s progress and strengthening community engagement. He views public service as an honor and emphasizes listening to residents to craft policies that serve everyone effectively. Antone values transparency and plans to maintain open communication through town halls, progress reports, and public feedback opportunities. He aims to ensure inclusivity by inviting diverse voices into decision-making processes and sustaining strong relationships between city leadership and residents. His approach to leadership is grounded in respect, intelligence, and collaboration to benefit the entire community.
